Brigade fall competition
On November 15, The SF JROTC Brigade will conduct its annual Fall Drill Competition at Balboa High School. Drill teams from each battalion will compete against one another in events such as Color Guard, Drill Platoon, Squad Drill, Individual Drill Down, and even a poster competition. Depending on placements for each event, battalions are also competing to see who claims the overall winner trophy.
Salute to veterans parade
On November 9th, cadets from across the SF JROTC brigade will participate in the annual Salute to Veterans Parade to honor and recognize the service of U.S. military veterans. Cadets will come in forms of marching and special units such as color guard, flag drill team, exhibition drill team, and drum corps. The special units of each school (if applicable and excluding color guard) will also have performances in front of the Salute to Veterans Platform.
Robotics Scrimmage
On October 18, robotics teams across the brigade came to Abraham Lincoln High School and scrimmaged against each other. This scrimmage was mainly held as a preparation for future robotics competitions such as the one held in Reno, Nevada, and the national competition if teams progress that far.
Fleet Week (Day 2)
Fleet Week was an annual event where naval ships and military service members from different branches came to engage with the public through ship tours, air shows, and other community events. On October 11, and October 12, cadets from the brigade volunteered at Fleet Week showcasing the JROTC Program and had robots on display. Cadet volunteers were also able to interact with people from different military branches learning about all the possible opportunities while also collecting souvenirs, some having to be earned through physical fitness tests.

On October 18th, the recently formed drone teams from across the SF JROTC brigade gathered at George Washington High School for the Brigade Drone Scrimmage. Cadets showcased their piloting skills through various challenges, demonstrating teamwork, coordination, and technical knowledge while preparing for potential future competitions.
World War 2 Commemoration
On September 2nd, SF JROTC students participated in the WW2 commemoration hosted at Lowell in the auditorium. They were able to listen to speakers about WW2 and also met a lot of special and important people such as Secretary Of The Air Force Kendall, Reverend Fong, Civilian Aide To The Secretary Of The Army Gill Sanborn, and etc.
Summer Leadership Training (Day 2)
On August 14th for the 2nd day of leadership training at Galileo high school, dedicated cadets across all the SF JROTC battalions participated in the summer leadership training to enhance their leadership skills while also making new bonds. This year, summer leadership training was more hands on with examples being outside activities and presentations to incorporate more fun and meaningful learning.

Pistahan Parade
On August 9th, the San Francisco JROTC brigade participated in the Pistahan parade with colorguard units to honor and preserve the enduring legacy of the Filipino American community. The Pistahan Parade and Festival was founded by Filipino American Arts Exposition (FAAE) in 1994 after more than 4,000 Filipino families were displaced to accommodate the redevelopment of the Moscone Convention Center and the Yerba Buena Gardens Complex. The Pistahan was the first outdoor event at the Yerba Buena Gardens and after 32 years, it continues to be a beacon of cultural preservation and celebration.
